If I purchased an 84 fiero with a 3800 sc swap done will I be able to drop the cradle and install it in my 86 gt? thanks

Yes, the four major mounting points are all the same. Any changes that would have needed to be done to put a different engine / transmission in have obviously already been done too, so as far as bolting it up, it should be straight-forward.

The only difference in the two cradles is the 85-87 units have extra holes for mounting the V6. Everything else is the same.

The location of the C500 connector is different on the 84's. You will have to make some wires longer on the 86 longer to reach the connector. Also, the pinouts at the C500 connector are slightly different on the later cars due to the V6.

The location of the rear tie rod mounts on the cradle are different too. The cradle will still bolt right up but the '84's rear end bump steers more than later models because of it.
