Hello. I recently did an egr delete on my '86 GT. The idle is much better now but still not right. I went around checking all my vacuum connections again and noticed the hose connected to the front of the egr solenoid is not connected to anything and is not even shown on the vac diagrams?? Is this just there to vent or? What am I missing here?

I believe its a vent. Sometimes a piece of foam may be covering it.

It was originally hooked up to a tube that went over to the air cleaner. Picking up air there is almost like a vent, but perhaps a slight vacuum. I have often wondered if you are more apt to get a code 32 if the tube is missing.

Yeah,, I did finally see that wondering where the tube from the air cleaner ended up. Guess I'll reconnect it with new hose since the old hose was shot any how...
Thanks...
