Ok i got a dumb question regarding grand am brake calipers which way are the bleeder's suppose to be. there suppose to be aiming up right not downward ???? Since air escapes upwards and not downwards ???? Do the grand am brake calipers sit in front the rotor on the grand am unlike the fiero where the caliper is behind the rotor ?????
Allso,When you get to the part about grinding the C-shaped bracket. After grinding, install the bracket and stick your head in the wheel well,to make sure its not touching the brake rotar (use a flash light,if you have to),otherwise your going to hear a grinding noise.

You know, I have been having a hella time bleeding mine. After reading your post I realized that mine are also pointed down. I mounted them based on the part number being left and right for the car. I think the problem is that it works on the Grand Am because the calipers mount in the front of the rotor as opposed to the Fiero with them mounted behind the rotor. I would have to see a Grand Am to confirm that though... I guess I need to flip them and bleed...
Isn't it strange that after a bombing, everyone blames the bomber, his upbringing, his environment, his culture, his mental state but … after a shooting, the problem is the gun?
Exactly mullet proof im guessing im gonna have to switch them around and put the passenger side on the drivers and the drivers side on the passenger side to have the bleeder facing upwards but will the 87-90 beretta/grand am brakes be all the same cause seen that the 90 beretta is a direct bolt up but im wondering if the 87 isnt like the ones i have
Yea seems like thats what im gonna do as well and see how the bleeders look and hopefully they will be facing upwards with the bleeders and the brake hoses banjo nuts on the bottom
If I remember correctly (and I may not), if you have Grand Am calipers on the front, you have to install them with the caliper cast with "R" on the left side, and vice versa, in order to get the bleeder screws on the top.
