Hey guys I'm nearing the end of my 3800 swap and its time for me to do something about the dog bone. (or my lack of one)

It would be great to see what others have done, and more importantly how well they hold up. I've been playing with a few ideas and all I can come up with is a good chance of a smashed alternator or a caved in trunk wall.

Did you find a workable setup for your dognone? I'm in the planning phases for my 3800sc swap and need ideas as to how to use the dogbone

I have thought that if you are running a 4T60-E or 4T65 ( with the aluminum end cover) you could use the big bolt boss's on the pan to bolt a arm to. this arm would run falword and a little down to a bracket on the cradle just behind were the cradle bolts to the body of the car. This would take the stress off the rear fire wall. It would not be in the way of any thing. It would not show.

I would also like to see what is working for somebody else. I have broken three of them in a 4 month period, so my design is not working

I used FieroX mounts with these from the Fiero Store. Left is stock size and the right is a cut down 4 banger one.
