I've called Donald Trump a lot of things, but "king" is not among them. He wishes to have the authority of a "king", but he's built more along the lines of a town fool. Fortunately there are enough sensible American citizens who can see through the thin façade.
' The Joker ! ' King Trump, in his Grumman F-14 Tomcat, carpet bombs Zombie hordes with manure canisters, making them feel welcome. ' Oh ! How wonderful ! More bool sheet ! ' Grunt out a turd for the Zombies ! You'll feel better immediately. ' Whew ! That was a thick monster ! ' ' Would you look at the size of that yellow striped bastage ! ' President D.J.Trump, the wildcard President.. ' I can be a King, and an Ace at the same time ! lol ! '

King Chuck has no meaningful control over Canada's military and/or government. Any say he might have is purely a token symbolic measure.
You seem convinced that Canada is governed by those inbred leeches in England. Is this what you're hoping for in the US... a succession of Trump family morons in office? King Eric?
I checked, Canada's entire military swears an oath to Canada's Monarch, King Charles III. If what you say is true, Canadians must not take oaths like this to heart. Based on the few friends I have that are Canadian military, I have sincere doubts of you being correct about the military. Can't say much about the average Canadian that you appear to be representing.

He does not represent the average Canadian. Commissioned officers in the military are commissioned by the King (or people the king appoints to do that job). Power isn't always doing everything yourself, it can also be when you allow/appoint other people to perform most of the common duties associated with power (a chauffer to drive you around in your limo is viewed as more rich/powerful than if you drive your own limo yourself). The Crown is very hands off about just about everything, but that certainly does not mean that the crown has no power, just that they've allowed more independence and hired "babysitters" to watch over. I'm very certain the average Canadian liked and was content with Queen Elizabeth, even if only out of respect for her long life and reign, King Charles I think most Canadians are rather indifferent, because he hasn't proved himself yet, and is getting a rather late start to it, but that doesn't mean he's powerless. I know "God save the King" just as well as I know "Oh Canada" and I don't think I know anyone in person as disrespectful towards the crown as Patrick is being here, and I'm in an area that historically has always had a great divide between stereotypical English loyalists, the stereotypical standalone French Canadians, and the Americans.

And what does that prove? Absolutely nothing.
When I went to elementary school back in the early 60's, there was a large photo of the Queen at the front of every classroom. If I remember correctly, we were forced to stand and sing God Save the Queen every morning. What a load of BS. Thank gawd that's changed since then. No more brainwashing of little kids, although it appears that this may still be occurring in small hamlets back east.

Big deal, they swear an oath to the Monarchy. In this day and age, this collection of inbred misfits does and says what elected officials tell them to say and do. It's not the Middle Ages any longer.

Thanks for this response, I didn't really believe Patrick speaks for all Canadians, I'm good friends with some very loyal Canadians who are very proud of their service(s). But, some here do attempt to speak as if they represent most of Canada. I do appreciate the response and the tone of the post.
I'm not sharing anything I shouldn't have, but I almost took a PCS (3 year tour) to Canada. It would have been with CES though and my wife said it was too much like America, so if she was going to live "abroad," she wanted it to be somewhere really unique. We never ended up living abroad. But at the time, there were a few places I asked if I could take a temporary duty assignment in Alaska or places in Canada that are remote and sparce, with just a few of my team-mates, doing whatever it is we would do. And I've always been awe-inspired by terrain like this.
I've just always been so impressed by extreme environments (on Earth). Like, deserts, tundras, or mountainous regions. Boondawg (former member on here) was a bit weird... but aside from his drug use, part of me was jealous of his Alaska-lifestyle.
Of course, Nunavut has a lot of gorgeous islands. Kinda shitty in the winter of course, nothing to see but white. But during the Spring and Summer, they are some of the most amazing places. The name is funny too... but if I'm not mistaken, I think it's native American.
We have a city here called Loxahatchee, which I always call "Lotsahoochie," and my wife gets pissed. Until one day we drove through a town called Loxocochee somewhere in central Florida, and I called it that and she was pissed at me for being a bad role-model for my daughter, and then I pointed to the sign and said... "I didn't make it up, look!"
EDIT: I've been unable to figure out what this movie is... but my love for that kind of scenery started when I was a little kid. Maybe 10? I watched this movie with my friends where there were these scientists living in some kind of arctic science / research center. I can barely remember the movie, I just remembered I really liked it. The thing I distinctly remember is that two guys got into a fight in the main common area of the science center, and they were beating the piss out of eachother... kind of like WWE style. Throwing chairs, you name it. None of them got seriously injured, but man, they were pummeling each other. It was probably made in the late 70s or early 80s. There was also a whole other different movie (which I wish I could remember the name too), where this photographer was filming somewhere in Canada or Alaska. He was really roughing it, and at one point, he sort of lost his mind a little bit, and put a rat in the blender and drank it because he was pissed that his tent had rats in it. I remember he started yelling at the other rats, and basically blended the rat in front of the others so that they would know what was up if they kept pestering him. Haha...

Why does Canada have a King ?
We do not have a King, Trump is not a King.
I hear tell that Canadians called the protest "no dictators day" True ?

Who told you that, ? Can you cite an example which cites a person affected ? Or, are they "anonymous" "sources" ?

Gosh. That takes you off the "smart" list. There getting doxed, receiving death threats, and they families are at risk. Just for doing their jobs as prescribed by Congress.
Originally posted by Patrick: You think when ICE "accosts" someone, that it ends there? Again, if you believe it's only "murderers, rapist and pedos" that ICE agents have arrested, then this makes your entire argument "rather stupid".
I forgive you, for not knowing US law. When ICE encounters the worst of the worst, they are required to arrest all illegal aliens.
