Didn't see Kimmel's monologue although I did see Senator Cruz's response to the Kimmel issue. I pretty much agree with the Senator. While I do consider Kimmel's initial monologue on the assassination of Mr. Kirk as vile, a lie and very inappropriate, I also believe that ratings/viewership should drive what's on the airwaves and Disney had the right to cancel who and what they sponsor. I guess we'll see how future rating reflect the quality of programing.

Absolutely no surprises in Jimmy Kimmel Live ratings the night he was allowed to return, may stay up there for a short time. My prediction is that when the next shiny object comes along to distract his leftist supporters, his ratings will fall back to where they were. If, this show was costing Disney as much as has been reported, this show won't survive past his current contract. IMHO, Disney's mistake was not recognizing the financial loss his show was causing sooner and not acting on that before he went completely nuts on live TV.
Since I don't watch his trashy show, I have no idea how he's responded to the latest ICE attack in Dallas but, I'll bet it is/was a more measured response if he addressed it at all. Apparently, Kimmel and his supporters don't think that at some point the extreme right (there are some of those out there also although few in numbers) will decide to take matters into their own hands and respond in similar manners. But there's been a striking difference in how these attacks have been reacted to by the different groups (so far).

That right there, is literally the entire problem of the left. It's this idea that they're never responsible for their actions, it's always because they had no choice... either because what they did was because of some socio-economic problem, or they reached their limit because of someone else. It's always the same thing... never their fault. I've never heard a Democrat ever apologize for anything, other than Bill Clinton sticking a cigar in Monica Lewinsky. I don't think I could even find an apology on anything else.
