So MSN finds the exact poll, and literally references the 71% that don't want him to run for re-election, using the exact same wording she did...

"71% of respondents do not think Biden should run for a second term"

They go into more detail, and ultimately state her claim as TOTALLY FALSE... like, reddest red false. The don't really explain why. It's 100% totally a defense piece, where they mention Trump (who's polling is much less bad than Bidens by 10%), and talk about the breakdown of 71% not wanting him to run... too old, sucks, whatever.


How do you go from looking at a tweet that everyone is sharing, literally backing it up, and then saying it's false? Someone explain to me what I'm missing here.

The author of that "Fact Check" article is drawing a distinction between people not wanting Biden to run again in 2024, and people wanting Biden to step down even before completing his current term; i.e., people wanting Biden to literally "retire" now, or soon, or before his current term is up, from his job as President of the United States.

The poll that's referenced can be used to support the assertion that some 71 percent of those polled want Biden not to run again in 2024. But the poll does not include any question(s) about Biden stepping down or "retiring" before Monday, January 20, 2025, which, in the course of (more or less) normal events, will be the last day of his (current) term as President.

Remember, to Leftists opinions = facts

Once you keep that in mind it makes a lot more sense when one of the Leftist faux-fact checkers calls the opinions "false".
