It's definitely a distraction from something.

LOOK, something shiny. Dont mind the man behind the curtain.

The other thing is, it sure looks like they bounced medical treatment (IE: Forced vax) back into states rights arenas. Cant claim constitutional protections now.

Gonna be a monkey-poxing-around fall.

The 2021-2022 court session is ending in a couple of weeks ... they've got to publish their decisions before the end.

I don't think it will affect the election this Autumn.

The Supreme Court doesn't care about the election cycle, it has nothing to do with them.

Their only concern is on what cases are brought to them by the circuit court for that judicial session.

Whether there is an election or not, really has no bearing (and absolutely should not) on the decisions they make, and has nothing to do with what cases are brought to them. This is what a lot of people don't understand... it's not like the Supreme Court can just arbitrarily decide to upend Rowe v. Wade. This ONLY came about because there was a court case that was brought to them this session called Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization from Mississippi. That Rowe v. Wade had anything to do with it, is because in ruling on Dobbs, it automatically up-ended the decision for Rowe v. Wade... which was only part of that court's decision.

Polling indicates only 15% actually care enough about abortion to be the deciding factor in their vote. Polling also indicates hardly anyone cares about illegal immigration.

I called this at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic and I am sticking to it. Some said I was wrong, COVID is still around but what are folks talking about.....

Bill Clinton was right, the issue is and will always be, the Economy. People's attention may be drawn to other shiny objects but, how they are living day to day, how far their paychecks go will always be their biggest concern. There will be some who might change due to the RvW issue but, now that will have some effect on state elections more than on Federal elections.

All that changed is now the states have control via their more local voters. That and alot of hype.
I'm pretty sure thats why they hype "Roe V Wade overturned", "you lost your rights" etc. Scare tactics are a mainstay with the left. They know it motivates voters.
