I have a 3800SC fiero (it is by far the fastest one I own) AND I also like other plastic cars. Here is a video I put together today.

Take a look.

I chose C5 FRC. Would not trade it in for a C6 or C7

I think the C6 is one of the most beautiful Corvettes I've ever seen. In a side profile view, the the fender peaks remind me of a '63-'67.
I liked it the minute I saw it. Still like it better than the C7.

I own a C5. I bought it some years back having wanted one back when I was younger. As a child of the 80s I grew up mostly seeing the C4 evolve so when the C5 came out I told myself as a kid I would buy one some day. Personally I find it somewhat difficult to compare a C5 to a C6 per say because there's not really a revolutionary difference between the two; if anything it's more evolutionary. It's amplified as the C6 utilized a lot of carry-over parts from the C5 and many C5 owners have upgraded their cars with C6 components. Braking components, suspension components, drive line components, and some older C5 spec race cars are even carrying C6 body work (you can do a Google search for some of these Frankenstein-ish hybrid cars). I do like that GM eventually held no bars against the C6 and really went all out with it. The C6 ZR1 was a great accomplishment from GM.

I may be in a relative minority but I absolutely love the C7 and think it's done all the right things for the Corvette. I didn't feel the same when the C6 came out. I am glad that GM has created so many C7s thus far, as the 2008 market crash dwindled C6 numbers, and I feel that ultimately the C7 will hit it's depreciation curve quicker. Which will be good for me as I plan on adding one alongside the C5 eventually even if I have to settle for a lower optioned car.

I like C4 the most But between the 5 and 6 I prefer the 5 because it's smoother and less gaudy.

C5 post 00 is a great DD and reliable. The C5 Z06 was way ahead of its time. I never did like the rear of them
