Looking at a 86 gt 5 speed. White and in good overall shape. Tail lights are nice and quarter glass has been replaced. Interior good. No sunroof or power mirrors. Overall a good fairly clean all original paint good running car. Just want some opinions of what everyone thinks it's worth. Thanks.

Pictures would help. I paid $2800 for a white 5-speed '86 GT with sunroof and power windows/doors/mirrors, although it had less mileage. Of course that was back in 2004, so it may not be relevant now. But honestly I'm not sure that the value of these cars has changed much since then anyway. I DO see a lot of Fiero's for sale that people are asking WAY to much for, at least IMHO. Another thing to consider is that this car will have sat for LONG periods of time in order to have such low mileage today. I can tell you from experience that things on these cars like brakes and clutch hydraulics do not handle long periods of inactivity well, so I would factor some upkeep money into your plans, and possibly into your offer price as well.

No pictures of the usual problem areas, but looks like a $3000 car.

I did check it out. It was a decent car with a solid trunk area and cooling tubes looked decent. I have to agree with you on the price. Maybe $3,500. Hard to find one now is the problem. But when you do people seem to think they are worth more then they are.
