This year we have decided to host the Spring Fling at my place in Leonard, TX.
We will all meet out at my place at 11am CST.
Then we are going to drive 20 miles north to Fannin County Museum-History Locking in a tour of the museum later today.
Then we can drive a separate route back to Leonard to have a great lunch at our local Tex-Mex restaurant.
After lunch we then can go back to my place for the actual Spring Fling and more fun. I have 26 acres for everyone to come on out and play on...feel free to bring your legal firearms if you want to do some shooting as well.
We also have a Wal-mart, just encase you need any last minute or forgotten items. If you don't feel like driving back, we have a charming & clean local motel here as well.

I think Predmoore already has, and can I get back with you on the 8th? That is our next meeting and I can have it to you by 6 or if you need the info sooner, I'll make calls this weekend.

Looking forward to this Saturday! I think the weekend weather will cooperate. I have talked to Jim Holland in OKC and he is figuring about 6-7 cars from his side.
And as mentioned above... Our host Jim has indicated that it would be okay if we bring legal firearms. I asked if anything was off the table and the reply was... "missles"... so sorry Tom. He also said that there is an old barn on his property that he plans on tearing down that we could shoot up. I found that kind of funny... because we could then literally see if we could hit the broad side of a barn door. Also, adult beverages are permitted, BYOB. Just watch out that you don't spill your beer in the bullet chamber... oh yeah... and you have to drive home too. Anyway, be responsible is all I ask.
One of the fun parts of Spring Fling is the caravan to the destination, so here is what I have in mind. 2 meeting locations, we merge and then head to Leonard's town square. For FW area attendees, meet at the Taco Cabana off 121/183 and Beach St (Haltom City) near downtown at 0830 or so. We will leave there at 0900 and head to the Dallas and North meeting. I am not familiar with the area, but I think google shows me a Whataburger in McKinney off 359/Virginia and 75. We will pop in there about 1000... head out at 1015 and get into Leonard about 1100. This route has toll roads, but it is also looks to be the path of least resistance and probably will allow us to stay together easier.
