So I have brand new shift/selector cables read to install and when I took a look at my car today, it looks like the WHOLE center console skeleton has to be removed....Those of you that have done this swap, is there any other way or can it be partially removed? my Skeleton looks like it's gonna sh*t itself into a million pieces if I try to completely remove it!!!

It's not that hard, I did not need to remove the center console skeleton, I did removed the grey console, then unbolt the ecu, move it out of the way. I removed my cable, pushing it into the engine compartment, then installed the new cable, from engine compartment into the interior. The connection the the transmission was done last.
