I have heard so much lately about the candidates for President. The fact that we keep getting people that I wouldn't even vote for for dog catcher is just disgusting. So I thought of who I would like to see running and wondered which way the folks here would run. Whiole I don't intend for this to be taken seriously, some one is sure to take some pot shots at me. So here is my preference for the job of Pres and VP.

VP............Pat Paulson

How about A 2-TIER Tax system, whereby Celebrities (UGH) get their own Tax band of 95% on everything they earn over $500.000 pa .

Well, to be honest...not totally . I stated CELEBRITIES to get their own 2 tier tax bracket at 95% over 500,000. I stand by that. Too many people who are 'Celebrities' get consulted about THEIR opinion of 'Things', and mostly NONE of them have the brains to be able to make a comment at ALL .
Limiting News programmes to two 1 hour slots per day would prevent or remove most of the rubbish they pour out day in and day out via TV etc. BE HONEST NOW: How frequently do we see distortion of truth, complete AVOIDANCE of the truth, and downright lies EVERY SINGLE DAY?
When I was a kid, the news was mainly via radio, and then later on midday and 6 o'clock on TV. Maybe I am wrong, but I doubt it;I Times were happier and a lot less stressful as a result. NEWS SHOULD NOT BE ENTERTAINMENT. IMHO.
The PRESS does not deserve freedom of expression, if it cannot express the unbiased and fundemental truth. I am sick of Editorial comments by somebody who sits in front of a tv camera spouting their OWN, and apparently unqualified opinion as if it was the undeniable truth.
And finally, justice should be the right of ALL, not just those who can afford the 'best' Lawyers.
