What are you listening to music-wise, or the last thing you did listen to? Be it Mp3, cd in your car, or work, or at home, XM radio...

In my car: Trans Siberian Orchestra
At work, FM radio currently Metallica's version of Turn the Page.

I just popped Stryper's "7" into the car CD player.

I've been critically listening to a couple of amplifiers (to choose which I keep and which I sell), so I've been playing a lot of stuff on the home setup. Right now, it's Bob James' "All Around the Town."

Which player? ( i think i'm up to 10, if you include phones and PDA's )

In the process of transferring things to my new carry around, just got done with H ( mostly Juliana Hatfield and Kirstin Hersh for that letter )

In the car player, its mostly zappa today.

Tape deck is still messed up so it's whatever is on the radio. I usually flip between the rock stations.

Whatever crap they play on the Muzak speakers.

Home:
Last thing I listened to here was The Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl.

The last thing I listened to was this.

WoW parody of the D12 song Purple Pills. And it's on my Ipod also.

Edit: Wanted to add a warning for explicit words used in the song.

^Well, it's not all "elevator music" Muzak is known (and probably part of the reason they're bankrupt) for, it's still a variety that I don't even know what to call it. I found out that it is the same stuff they make you listen to when you get put on hold trying to call Macy's corporate. They play more techno-like stuff in the young mens and juniors departments, but it's nothing I would listen to, even if it is free.

At least it does not repeat every 3-4 hours like the Christmas music did.

In the car...XM Radio, Channel 202, Opie and Anthony or Ron and Fez, depending upon what time of day it is. If I flip to the CD player, it's the new Dave Matthews Band CD.

I keep "Mafia" in my Fiero... Usually, you'll find me listening to older metal or "classically derived instrumental rock" (Post-rock... Mono, Explosions in the Sky, etc)

Right now? I'm listening to Wolfmother's new album.

Right now on my Last.fm station (Rallaster) I have Apocalyptica playing. Queued up in Banshee I have Epica, Nightwish, Lunatica, and a couple other female fronted symphonic/progressive/melodic metal groups. For some reason, my favorite music seems to come out of Finland, The Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Etc.

I've been listening to my 'pod a lot lately. While working out, driving to and fro, etc. Last things I listened to on it was The Cars "Candy-O", and every Allman Brothers Band album I have, from "Eat A Peach" to "Where It All Began" and everything in between (including the "Dreams" set) set to shuffle. I also watched Rambo 4 and Serenity on the flight back from KW (it's an Ipod classic with 80 gig drive and large screen)

Work: An annoying co-worker that whistles non stop! Got to get a little radio or mp3 player.

Diana Krall at Montreal jazz Festival 2006. She is singing "The Girl in the Other Room." Great jazz and easy on the eyes. Usually I like "Yes" or early Clapton or even the first Chicago albumn, "Chicago Transit Authority" (everything after that was schmaltz in my opinion) but in a melancholy mood today.

Lately in my car I've used the app called Slacker Radio on my Blackberry and hooked it into my head unit. It's a free app and has a lot of stations on it. I've just kept it on the Rock channel.
