GAHHH!!!

This is getting really frustrating, I have been screwing with this for weeks, and probably 10-15 hours actual time in it.

I have googled to hell and back, searched through MS KBs played in GPO, poked in both ends of the server and done all I can think of.

Half the stuff I read on google sounds downright backwards from what you should do, but I tried it all.

Can anyone help?

And yes I know why it is disabled by default.

"Experience" properties on the client should have a check-box for background images.

The feature can also be turned off at the terminal server.

Got it in the client at the experience settings.

Also tried a few places in the server, and a few places in GPO, but go ahead and list them in case I missed something.

Like Hooked said, it will auto scale back in some cases. Another thing to do is actually logout of the RDP session and not just disconnect, my background disappears almost everytime after I disconnect and reconnect, but logout and back on and it reappears.

Nope, LAN link.

I actually got it working in a test server, 2k3 32bit. But I put the same GPO settings into my production server, 2k3 64bit terminal server, and nada lol.
