I had posted the gag email about a pirate hunting cruise before, now there is a company that is offering this for real.

Wait could we take this cruise on the Potomac and hunt for some of those pirates in Washington D.C.?

Does the cruise line dress them for you and do they have a taxidermist on board if you want a trophy mount?

Did not read the web site,,but yes a russian cruise line is offering a cruise to Kenya and the ship will cruise slowly as bait ,, in what at that time will be Pirate infested waters,, grenade launchers wll be available for pirate repelling ,, 6 special ops russian military types will be aboard in case things get out of hand..
Shooting somali pirates from a cruise ship ?? finally a cruise I can get into,,what sport, nailing pirates from the deck while enjoying a refreshing cold beverage,,with a Russian/Ukraine honey to spot for me.. this is better than disney land..I am all tingly thinking about this fantasy dream trip..How about an all fiero booking,nothing but fiero owners., dinging Pirates from a Cruise ship !! Nirvana..who would not love this..
Think how this would be the vacation of a lifetime, if you actually bagged a pirate ,,knowing the Russians they would mount the head for your den/library back home

Basically under Article 1 section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, a private person can hunt down pirates.

The letters, specifically authorized in the Article 1 section 8 of the U.S. Constitution, allow private parties to attack and seize the property of other parties that have committed violations of international law. Congress has the power to grant the letters. The United States made significant use of them during the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 and never joined 19th Century treaties in which European nations forswore their use. The U.S. issued letters of marque to ships during the Spanish-American War of 1898; and a civilian operated airship, The Resolute, operated under a letter marque during World War II. The letters also have a long history prior to the establishment of the United States. Elizabethan-era explorer and adventurer Sir Francis Drake operated under a letter of marque.

The hunters become the hunted, oooooh I love it, just deserts you know. I wonder if they have a taxidermist on board, you know, mount the trophy? No but I would be all about the "keepsake video" of me burning through 1000 rounds, debit card be damned.
