During qualifing yesterday, Danica Patrick went down to confront Milka Duno in the pits. Milka hits Danica in the face with a towel not once but twice!
I've seen them both race in person at MIS last year. Danica can drive as well or better than the other drivers out there, but Milka shouldn't even be allowed in a car. It was funny to see the whole field go by, then 5 seconds later, here comes Milka!
She will lose respect points with my wife for not jumping over that table and whooping Milka.
Brad
Danica's Yoga is no match for Milka's Martial Arts. LOL
There was quite the discussion about this incident during the Indy Lights Race yesterday. Danica pushes the guys cause she knows they won't/can't do anything about it. The guys are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If the guy fights back he is labled as the guy who picked/hit a little girl. If he doesn't fight back he is a wuss. It's a no win situation for the guys but, confronting Milka puts Danica on a whole different playing field. Milka can/will fight back without any reprocussions.
Tune in for the race at 1:30 today on ABC. There is sure to be a lot of talk and video about the incident.

Bravo for "Milk & Donuts"!! Glad to see she won't take crap. "Milk & Donuts" certainly isn't the hottest driver out there, but after her own little stunt in the pits at Nashville, "Panica" has no right to be lecturing anyone.
Yes, I've spent a good bit of time listening to "Panica" on her radio freq. and it's usually one long endless B*tch about anything and everything. I honestly don't know how the crew can tolerate it.
"Please go away, you like show. Broadway over there" hehe.
Yep. It's not about driver craft or an overwhelming desire to be a champion for "Panica". It's clear to anyone that spends more than 10 minutes around her at the track that she sees the IPS as a tool or a stepping stone to fame...and she demands it NOW.
It is very clear that the IRL loves this kind of stuff though, otherwise the video of this would NOT be up on indycar.com I wouldn't be at all surprised if TG privately told "Panica" to do more of it, after her little march down pit lane at Indy, going after Briscoe. Like TV wrestling, it puts butts in the seats, and NEVER forget that this is "Motortainment" folks. Funny how the MSN or ESPN cameraman was right there waiting to catch all this eh??

LEXINGTON, Ohio (AP) – If Saturday is any indication, the Honda Indy 200 may be just more of the same struggles that Danica Patrick has faced so many times in the past three months.
Patrick, who started a career-best second here a year ago, was 11th in the morning practice at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
After getting out of her car, Patrick quickly walked to where Milka Duno, the only other woman racing here this weekend, was pitted and confronted the less experienced driver about getting in her way several times during the practice.
The confrontation lasted only about a minute, but witnesses said it grew heated and that Duno flung a towel in Patrick’s direction at one point as the two exchanged words. Patrick eventually walked away.
Patrick, who has previously confronted fellow drivers Dan Wheldon and Ryan Briscoe after racing incidents, brushed off the latest dustup, saying, “I just wanted to know if she saw me out there.”
Duno was not immediately available for comment.
Things didn’t get better for Patrick after the confrontation.
She failed to get past the first of three rounds in the knockout-style time trials and will start 20th on the 26-car grid in Sunday’s race. Duno qualified last.
“The car was pretty fast during practice this morning, but I was unable to find the speed that I needed during qualifying,” Patrick said. “I’m disappointed that I didn’t qualify better, knowing that I started on the front row last year.
“But there are some areas of the course where I will be able to make some passes. It’s a long race, so, hopefully, I can work my way up the field.”

danica is hot, milka is pretty nice too. Milka cant drive, she was one of the last cars all day, and I think finished 3 or 4 from the back cars that wrecked out. Its a racer courtesy to move over out of the groove when someone going 20 mph faster is overtaking you. Prob adding about 100,000 new IRL fans this week though. danica can prob outdrive 3/4 of this forum in just about anything, me included. Every racer is supposed to be constantly telling the crew whats wrong with their car...thats how they fix it. Shes finished in the top 5 quite a few times and won 1 already, so she knows what shes doing.
On the ARCA front, Angela and Amber Cope (hot) ran in saturdays race at Kentucky. Neither of them did very well. Amber spun out at least 3 times. Angela was running in the front pack quite a bit after qualifing 14th I think.

Could be she's just making excuses for being slow. I'd like to see the video of her "getting in the way." Everyone has bad days Danica...
Hahaha!
I watched it. Milka was on the inside line, Danica went to the outside to pass her. The way I saw it, looked like after Danica cleared her and started to cut back into the low side, Milka speeded up hitting Danicas rt rear tire. Danica might be partly at fault if she cut it a little too close too. Milka should have given her the line, she was already like laps behind and Danica was running midpack.
Therein lies a big part of the problem. With one of the very finest and well financed teams and the best equipment and technical support, she consistantly manages to run mid- pack. Before I have to hear about her "glorious win" at Motegi again, lets be absolutely clear. That was a fuel mileage strategy win, and had very little to do with driver craft and almost everything to do with team management. The IPS is only going to continue to be more and more difficult for Panica as more talented drivers come to the series.
Yes, drivers do communicate with the crew to advise them of the car, (what can't already be see on the telemetry), but trust me, Panica has gone to a "whole new level" of driver-crew communications. I'm hoping someday to hear that her crew chief finally said "Just STFU and DRIVE willya?" Listen to Panica long enough and you will come to realize that everything and everyone ELSE is to blame EXCEPT HER.
If you want to see who the REAL female "star" drivers are going to be, look to the Indy Lights at Ana Beatriz and maybe to Cyndie Alleman. "Bea" isn't a "hottie" or well endowed eye candy like "Milk & Donuts", but she has consistantly demonstrated excellent driver craft this season and her dominating win at Nashville should say a lot.
