I'm glad you were there at the end. I was with my 2 sisters with our father when he passed as well. Even years after, words to fully express what he meant and continues to mean to me fail me, but it was important to me that I was there.

My sympathy to you and yours. I lost my Father to the big C, everyone knew it was comming, but it's still it's hard to get over all the emotions.

I can't help thinking your families presence was a real comfort, I knew my Dad enjoyed seeing family and friends before he left us.

I see things daily that, I think, my Dad would have Laughed his azz off about. Remembering him laughing helps me in so many ways.

Best wishes to you and your family, we had to go thru the same thing with losing my father this winter, on my birthday.

Remember him for what he was and what he did for you.
