Bought myself a bag of Halloween Muskateers, a bag of SNICKERS (the edumacational kind with useless facts from Dextor's Labortory on the wrapper) and two bags of KitKat chocolate bars to snack on here at work...

The KitKat wrappers come with this "Tear Here" feature with supposedly a little plastic "red" strip that assists in the tearing process, much like the string in a Band-Aid wrapper. However, the red strips are all located on the outer edge of the sealed flap...you know...that little bit of extra paper that you can flip flop around when you are bored...and can't get into the KitKat paper wrapper.

Just wondering what a goof up like this would be worth someday in the future, like all the other goof ups from other products...

Not sure of what it is worth, but I have a packaging screw up. I have several of the 1st Surge soda cans produced. They have a lot of red graphics including the UPC bars. As many know the store scanners use a red scanning beam. They couldn’t be read and all sales had to be coded in manually.

I bought a case of snapple once and one bottle had what looked like either a piece of rock, or a lemon seed, embedded inside the glass.

I thought it was unique and put it on ebay. Some lady bought it for her husband who was a big snapple fan (only sold for a couple bucks).

I know that defective pez dispensers are collectable. If you find one in the store that wasnt painted, or the head is missing, or some other manufacturing defect, people collect those.

But a faulty tear strip? I dont know. Thats getting picky.

I have a Hitler Pez dispenser. Wonder if that's worth anything?

PS I do! I really do.
PPS Ok, ok: Back in the old college days, a friend of mine and I bought a Charlie Brown Pez dispenser, removed the basball cap, and used a Sharpie to put a little Hitler mustache on. All the while, we laughed, "This is SO wrong!!!" Ah, for the stupidity of youth....
