Ok, i was watching some more of my Simpsons episodes on DVD since i recently found out how to turn the commentary on. One thing i noticed is that they refer to the Tracy Almond/allman/allmen/almen? shorts or shows. What were these and where can i view them? Can anyone who knows what im talking give me the correct speeling of the name? Thanks...

Tracy Uhlman I think

She does sketch comedy using a lot of disguises. She's pretty funny. She had her own show for awhile.

the Tracy Ullman Show was where the simpsons started, it was originally a short sketch in each episode, which was so popular it was given a contract for a full series in 1989.

Yeah, the Tracy Ullman show is where I discovered the Simpsons, and I've been a fan ever since. My favorite episode is the death of Bleeding Gums Murphy, hence my nickname. My favorite scene? When Bart was on tour at the police station and lined up the megaphones. Second favorite scene? When Bart spent the day shaking up Homer's Duff beer. I could go on and on.

whats odd about that episode is theres a play on that Bleeding Gums Murphy is actually Dr.Hibbert's lost brother BUT in the second season where Homer's serching out his brother, the guy at the orphanage is also played to be dr. hibberts long lost brother also. So, Dr. Hibbert had 2 brothers

Old Blind Guy- "here, have my saxophone"
Bleeding Gums- "That isnt a saxophone, thats an umbrella"
Old Blind Guy- "you mean ive been playing an umbrella for 30 years? why didnt anybody tell me?"
Bleeding Gums- "We all though it was funny"

Tracy ullman. i think

I use to watch her show when i was young.

It was a comedy show. I cant remember it too much.
And right before they went on commercial, they would have a 10 second simpsons cartoon.
Very generic.

Also, when the commercial was over, if you were lucky, another 10 second simpson cartoon.

It was my only reason in watching the show.

I believe the first simpson show was the Xmas episode. When they get santas little helper(dog)

If you watch all the simpsons on tv. I believe the 100th? episode they do a history on the simpsons. And show 2 clips from tracy ullman show.

But i have no idea where to find her show. Unless they bring it on comedy central, or someone has it on kaza if thats still exists.

"Tracy Takes on..." on HBO and/or Cine-MAX.

Her show is on quite frequently (not the SIMPSON's episodes) at least it was a while back...I could be wrong though now.

Nobody read, let alone understood that last statement now did you?!... that comment doesn't exist nor does me ever being wrong...
