Maybe you should tell him that the same engineering staff that designed the Fiero, also designed the Saturn. Or how about that the plastic panels on the Saturn are made and installed by the same machines that did the Fiero.
As for the "Teambox", It has been noted many times that going to other forums and trying to convince the mis-informed about Fiero's is a huge waste of time. 3/4 of the rumors of fires were stated way back in the 80's. Just for facts sake, Ford leads the contest of most fires for a given vehicle and the most fires in a single model year. But don't worry Chrysler is starting to catch up. The Autoweek comments were based on rumors not facts. At 20 a month, they are saying that 2400 cars a year burned?? The actual documented fires caused by the problems associated to the recalls are less than 500 total. The comment on the heads is really a fabrication too. 75% of all GM FWD cars with 4-cyl engines in the mid 80's used the exact same 2.5L engine as the Fiero. (It was the 1.8L and 2.0L overhead 4-cyl that had head problems)
The forum isn't even about cars, It's about a gaming system.
Finally, Roger wanted to know what cars they drove, I bet the ones who don't list cars either drive Mom's car or don't even have a license yet!
Just ignore them and they will go away.

In my opinion, telling them about all the things that you *could* do to a Fiero is kind of a waste of time. With enough money, you can make any car look like anything. Its a stronger argument to tell them the strengths of the car in stock condition.

These types of people have already made their opinion on the car. Most without ever actually driving one. They once heard they were slow, or they burnt up, or had bad suspensions, or whatever and therefore the car must be junk. I don't want people with such closed minded thinking owning one anyway. Arguing with them won't change their opinions.

I can't stand this anymore, wherever I talk about the fiero, I'm bashed for it like I'm a total loser and freak for owning it, or wanting to get another one... why???
i got my email just a few seconds after registering. None of them seem to know how to fix anything, just some of those parts installers like work at Pep Boys, lol. I loved the one where he told me I was so dumb because gremin and pacer were made by amx. He just showed how big a fool he was, lol. First there all made by AMC. He didnt even have a clue that AMX was a 2 seat sports car, never heard of it, lmao.

I noticed the same thing too with amx "making gremlin and pacer"
I know the difference because when i saw waynes world, i had to get a pacer.
But its interesting how its hard to work on the fiero when it has a 2.5 and 2.8l engine that was used prob on 75% ? of the cars that were made in the 80s.

Also there are 2 ppl on the forum poopx is the one that has the father thats a mech and superdud is the loser that can't keep from putting his foot in his mouth. The gnx cost 30,000$ and the 20th T/A cost a little more than that. Plus there were like 500 GNXs and 1500 T/As.

Roger where were you when i was bashing people on the sportbike forum? It was more like 2-3 people. I was stating how awd isn't any better when all wheels are spinning (complete loss of traction) but they kept on refering to the event when there is traction. DUH. Then a so called engineer was trying to bash how the fiero was a bad car and im racist because i hate ricers. And another guy who said he didn't wanna waste his time arguing with me, but kept on posting replies.
