Actually it started out as my wifes dog since she got him just before we met. His name is Cowboy and he's a full blooded German Shepherd. He's been living down at my father in laws house in Oh since we didn't have any place to keep him up here. Now that we have our fence done, my wife brought him up here. The only problem is that he's very malnourished. My sister in law has been taking care of him (or not). You can see his ribs and he doesn't have much of a shine to his coat. It's a good thing I don't want to go to jail 'cause I'm in a beating-up-my-sister-in-law mood right about now. Cowboy hasn't really seen me much so I figured it would take him a while to get used to me. Not. We're buddies already. He really is a cool dog. Real friendly. He loves to get scratched on the sides of his neck. Man. What a feeling to be able to walk outside and have a dog run up to you like you're his best friend. It's a great feeling to know that you're loved and wanted.
Forgive my ramblings.

I had a dog named Marbles... 1/2 German shep, 1/2 Collie. I grew up with him. Last year we put him to sleep. He was 18 years old(almost as old as me) and had some health problems that kept him in pain. We kept him hopped-up on these special doggy pain-killer medicines but it wasn't enough.

here's a shot of my dog Byng, from last winter... i don't know who that funny looking person, with a near full head of hair is?
Byng is great, she is a little bashfull of some things, but overall a wonderfull dog. I wouldn't take ANYTHING for her! I don't have a photo of my girlfriends dog, Nick. He's funny, bossy, and a pain in the ass sometimes... but he's still ok... always hungry... more, more, giveme more.
hey Wolfhound -- those are the same dogs that the Fiero Shp has!! George and Rachel have two named Maggie and Lilly and they are fascinating little dogs!! very lovable!!

tgowens, they are neat dogs. They raise cain when someone that they don't know comes over, but the second time the're treated like old friends. Very intellegent.
This is Shadow and Grizzy when they first met. This NASCAR stuff went on for hours. for little dogs they are very fast. Ebbie in the first photo is their pup. They also have a new pup "Bear" thats two months old. Yeah seems me and george have a lot in common. Fieros , sailing, schiperkees, and we were in the same unit in Nam (1/27th Wolfhounds) wierd. Coy

This is my dog. He is pretty hyper, but mostly a good dog. He does a neat trick. I put a Scooby Snack (dog biscuit) on his nose and make him sit there for a second. Then I snap my fingers and say "Good boy!" and he flips it up and catches it.

Cooter... I have to tell you, that is one funnny expresion on your dogs face! Got me laughing instantly!
Wolfhound... Byng looks a lot like your dogs. Her ears are normally up, like your dogs. Are they related to border Collie's, or is it just a co-inkydink?
So- you are saying my dog is funny looking? You would be right!!! She is about the ugliest dog I have ever seen, but is also the most loveable and smartest dog I ever had.
Cooter, What is it they say? A dog and his master resemble each other???
No offence intended, I hope none taken.
You Just Gotta Love EM!
My handle isn't just because I am Dogtired all the time, Its cause I love dogs all the time. But I do fear what is going to happen to me cause the drugs they give me aren't really cutting it ???
Animals FOREVER ...
Say Wolfhound, post that shot you sent me some time back of those fellas driving your Fiero. Great Shot.
Hoop who is that guy with the chrome Dome? Oh now I see, he's not really loosing his hair, he just has a large forehead!
I well remember a year or so ago telling you all about my BEST FRIEND Passing. Its tough to get over, but will never FORGET! Here's one to you big fella! Oliver, Where ever you are. YOUR BEST BUDDY!

Robert,This is intended as a compliment(I had to qualify this next statement)You are farther up the evolutionary chain than most of us.The majority of men probably have a forehead, many have a fivehead, some have a sixhead, you have surpassed us all with what appears to be at least a ninehead.Congratulations!
How do you guys post pics? I will try the same way on ebay, but I don't think it will work. If it does work, notice the Fiero Hall and Oates poster behind him. BTW I work at an animal hospital if anyone has any questions.

Black88GT--My wife has a question for you. How do we get the fly bite markings off of the tips of my dogs' ears? I have some salve to prevent it once I get the markings off.
BTW--Me and my dog just took a little nap on the porch. There is nothing like unconditional love.

Monkeyman, have to check with the Doc on that one. Do you have any pictures? I would say take them to a vet. and ask them to shave the ears totally. Then put some type of ointment on it, like Panalog, it works well. Like I said let me check first with the Doc though.
