I have seen a few posts about the Fiero and over steer. I was reading some articles on the tablet the other day, and came across an article in Car & Driver explaining Overseer. It is a nice in-depth article, yet short, and they make it really easy to understand. I thought it was definitely worthy of sharing. You can read it at their site here.

Fieros generally understeer from what I have seen. The only oversteer issues I encountered were from my vr6 fiero with the torsional LSD. Most people crash their cars when they have a mid or rear engine oversteer because they tend to over correct the oversteer and the car will violently come around. Press the brake and it is guaranteed game over.

Read that article several times while in my "office". I am a driver. I can drive anything. I find it quite difficult to drift my 3.1 GT. I am able to do it quite a bit, but only because of the road conditions on the mountains. Snap oversteer is a viscious brute with our little hot rods. It is easier to drift in my twin turbo all wheel drive Audi A6. There is more wiggle room for the rear end. Guru is correct on his driving technique. NOT for the faint of heart mind you.

Saw that in a youtube video comparing mr2 to Pontiac Fiero, they stated " hit the brake and its game over, throttle threw and you will be fine"
