Well... I know that's not his car, but he actually used to live in the neighborhood that my parents lived in. He lived in Emerald Isles Estates in Davie, Florida (South Florida). My parents used to live there... it's a fairly decent neighborhood with the homes averaging anywhere from $800,000 to $2,000,000, with a total of about 25 homes in the circle. He lived on the furthest end from the intersection, and drove a 1996 Corvette and an H2 Hummer. His wife, don't remember her name, actually worked for some bank or something, and the H2 was hers. He was always gone making movies, but every once in a while, I'd see him cruise by in his Corvette. I lived with my parents for about a year when I was trying to save up money for my wife's engagement right. He'd always see me working on my 1987 Fiero SE / V6, and I'd always have my 1984 Fiero 2m4 SE parked out in front... my parents hated it because they thought the cars looked ghetto in such a nice neighborhood. A couple of times, he would roll down his window and wave, and once he asked me about the car (yelling from the street) so I yelled to him that it was a Fiero, and he gave me a thumbs up and said "lookin' good"... was pretty much the extent of it.

Hah... so maybe he had something to do with it?

Then again... anyone who's in their early 40s grew up during the time that this car was popular... and all the cool kids in high school had Fieros and TransAms back in the mid 80s.

I was so pumped when i saw this! I own the exact same car. 88 formula, red, with t-tops. I don't care what this movie is about im gonna see it. and buy a poster. Plus i like Dwayne johnson and Mark Wahlberg anyway. I'm changing my facebook profile to this. my formula is already my cover photo so why not? After this movie people are gonna ask about my car even more than they do now. haha.

If you watch the movie The Rocker, they also mention Fiero .
It's pretty cool how these cars are making it back into the big screen.
