Well I'm planning on making the trip again and I'm pretty sure there's one or two others but they'll have to chime in for themselves. The only fly in the ointment that could cause me to cancel would be a crappy weather forecast. I've bee twice and it's rained cats and dogs both times.

I might be at the track, but I have no Fiero in the stable right now. Sold it last fall, and have not found one that has compelled me to buy. (yet). I would be there with my DD

Well this weekend I take the longest continuous ride yet in the Fiero. Not real far but from Buffalo to Rochester, 90 miles or so. If she handles the ride with no issues, i'm thinking a trip to the Glen is in my future.
**ugh...wife just informed me of prior engagements that weekend. ballz**

Sorry guys but something has come up for me and I will not be able to make it this year. I was really looking forward to going but sometimes stuff happens. Hope the weather works better this year and you have a great turn out. If you're planning a get together in Tonawanda again this summer I'd like to come out for that.

It'll make it! (But don't blame me if she doesn't )
If you go, you will LOVE it. If you are nervous about taking the Fiero, I think you would enjoy driving the 300 on the track too!

I want to put out a HUGE big thanks to TOM HARDING and the NYFOC guys for helping and being right on the spot for responses on the forum to people asking questions as I have a lot going on and don't respond as good as I should be. I also want to thank all the sponsors who are helping us with this show and who donate services and items. THANK YOU

First, a big thank you to AC and the crew for putting together a very nice event. We had a great time hanging out enjoying some good Fiero company. And the location is beautiful (yes, even despite the weather). If you've never been up to Watkins Glen (or even if you have), add this event to your calendar for next year. We were able to explore the area a bit while we were there and already can't wait to get back up there for next years Fiero show. And of course, the track is just totally awesome!
Now onto some pictures....

This is the second year I have been to Watkins Glen for the show and the drive on the track. I plan on coming back again next year and now so does my wife Carol. She didn't really get the desire to drive the track until we actually got out there and ran around. Even though it was not totally dry and was some what limited by the fog we did get in a decent trip around the track. It was pretty amazing that while we were setting there in line to get our chance on the track at the last minute the fog lifted. It was almost like a miracle. The corvettes were just pulling in from doing laps in the 20 to 30 mph range and then the fog lifted. So we went out there and were approaching speeds in the 60's. They had placed a bunch of their vehicles with flashing lights in between us so we would not get hung up driving in the fog and I know the guy in front of me with the 4 wheel drive pickup was having a ball and really chirping the tires especially in the boot. I don't know that he could have gone much faster with that truck. Of course it was not fast enough for the Fiero's, but what the heck we did feel a little bit of G-force.
All in all a great job by AC and the crew. Thank you from Michigan.
