Boyd sent me a message tonight on Facebook...

There is a tentative airdate of September 21st, 2010 at 10PM on KARE11 out of the Twin Cities. This far out, it is not set in stone, but it is pretty good that this will be final.

Boyd also wanted me to tell the Fiero community "Thank you. You guys are the best."

Now to find out how I can watch it.!!!

I was told by Boyd that he can't give me permission to upload anything to Youtube, and KARE11 still owns the rights to the segments that I have uploaded...

But, he also believes that the original segment allows for a much wider audience for viewing. He stated he wouldn't be surprised if this new segment mysteriously appears on Youtube next to the original one.

I guess no one cares???

kare11 means nothing to me...im guessing it's something brodcast over the air? or a local thing. glad to see it being replayed but in ny wont be able to see it. That could be the reason due to lack of enthusiasm.

In recent times, the custom aftermarket car/automobile roadwheel has become a status symbol. These wheels are often incorrectly referred to as "rims". The term "rim" is incorrect because the rim is only the outer portion of a wheel (where the tire is mounted )

KARE11 is the TV station that covered the Tyler project. I met one of the guys at the memorial show, he was a cool guy. I for one think it'll be cool to see the segment, we'll all get to watch the media whore (Sorry Chris and I might even see myself changing that accursed starter at the show...I still laugh about that now and then.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out how I will watch it. I'm guessing the video of it will be on KARE11's web page?

The video will be put up on their site, usually within an hour of the broadcast. I am also planning on snagging the video and putting it up on Youtube right next to the original, so it should be available to view within an hour or so of broadcast.

I'm already planning for the next show. Can't wait! 312 days to go (rough Guesstimate)

Any updates? Is it still on for Sept. 21?

Yes, it is still on for the 21st. I have not received any updates telling me otherwise. I will be Youtubing the video as soon as I see it on their site.

Boyd is on my list now! LOL He was supposed to let us know and never did. Last time he sent us a DVD of it. I could probably somehow post that if we get another one if the you tube thing doesn't work...with some help from Chris of course. my technical ability is limited to operating the microwave and toaster oven. We can't get Kare 11 where we live either, so I will be anxious to check it out online hopefully.

Same here. Some story about texting. What is the scoop?

Boyd contacted me late last night and stated that it was delayed until Thursday, the night of the 23rd. I did not get a reason why.

I was hoping to finish off my birthday with a nice video, but I can wait two more days. Besides, the 23rd will be the two month anniversary of our pilgirmage to Frazee.

I was thinking the same thing. ( My birthday today too). Happy birthday!!

I spoke with Boyd, and he is going to burn a DVD with the original Tyler Story, both versions, and this upcoming segment and send it to me. When I get it, I intend on encoding it at a nice HIGH res and upload it somewhere for everyone to snag that wants it.

They started with rehash of Tylers's car emerging from the reveal and time lapse of the build. Then quick shot of the St Cloud convoy and car show main street and finished with interview with Hulki.

Make sure someone grabs it tomorrow night and puts it up for the rest of us! It will probably be some time before Boyd can get the DVD all put together and shipped.
