Ok, I have a set of Yokohama tires ES100 that have been stored for about 4 1/2 years and only put on for shows that I put into use now. I found 1 bad tire that road forced at 37 lbs ..... For all that does not know the term.... Just way bad....... like really bad my others are around 4 lbs,,must be a belt problem or something like that. Well the warranty is the first 2/32nd wear or 12months so it's well out of warranty for 100% coverage, bad news they don't make that tire anymore and I have staggered tires 225 up front and 245 on the rear so I can't move the odd to the rear. With out any fight at all they covered the bad tire 100% and I asked about the other front tire now with a pull from tread change side to side. After about 15 seconds on hold he came back and covered both 100% and the switch to the S-drive model. Way above what I thought they would do, now I know why I switched many years ago to Yokohama and put them on my cars. This is the only warranty claim I've ever had on a Yokohama tire and I've moved 100's of them. So nice to see a company stand behind a product, and go 500% to make a customer happy and before they got upset.

What did they replace them with?

I've still got a brand new set of ES100's on the front of my car, and wish so badly I could find a good set of 245's for the rear of my car again. I used the ES100 for 5 years, and I'm still in love. They discontinued my favorite tire...... /rage mode.

So I decided to read up on the S-Drives. The tread pattern is identical... Sidewall stiffness is supposedly stiffer (stiffer than an ES100, is that possible).

I'm gonna throw a set on the back and see if they can keep up with the front.
