So all those Fieros are at the one yard that was listed at the end? Most look in prety rought shape but some looked salvagable. Does the guy want to sell them for a decent price or does he think he has a gold mine?

I saw the seats and thought so. What is the history on the T top being on it? A couple of early Fieros did get T tops. It might be uber rare. Tim, that is some find. Not many...hardly any salvage yards have that many Fieros. The ones that do usually have a Fiero business going on. Many Fiero businesses that have Fieros do not have that many.

He has 3 different locations for the cars.
Some are salvageable with a lot of work.
I wouldn't say that he thinks he has a gold mine...but I wouldn't say that he is a big hurry to gt rid of them, other than the parting out of the 4 - 6 that he is using for parts. The white fastback he wants to sell for $1200. The red one that you see some of us looking in (the last 3 pics) he wants $3200 for... I told him that there was no way he would get those prices...but...like I said, he doesn't appear to be in a big hurry to sell them. He likes the cars. He grabs every Fiero that he comes across. Some of those were given to him, some were $50 when he bought them.
He sold one that he fixed up to a local Killeen lady for $4500 and that makes him think that they are all worth something.
He is a REALLY NICE guy, and I didn't mean to make him mad when I told him he would be sitting on the cars for those prices, and he really didn't seem to care. I was working on getting him to sell the T-top 84 to me before the storms.

hi, thought yall might be interested to know that there are two fieros (knotchbacks) at a salvage yard in Lufkin, TX. that appear to be in about the same shape as the red one yall were looking in for 300 apeice, got out and looked at them but dont know enough yet to try and give anyone an appraisel, interior seemed decent and both bodies were definately salvageable, will buy them myself if i get the money before they are gone. But that doesnt seem likely so if any one is interested let me know.

There is an 87 GT for sale in Longview. Been speaking with the seller for a while. He is wanting to sell pretty soon. I was interested in it until the storms.

Well i dont have any idea how old these are but they might make good part cars or projects for sure, probly gonna be a couple of months before i get my money so i am really not trying to nail anything down yet. (dont want someone missing sales waiting on me) but thanks for the info, i do prefer the GT fast backs over the rest.
We're all fine. Just the house got hit (not to mention the mess in the yard). I am willing to have to wait to get another Fiero if that means that all of my family is safe. No complaints (much). The $$$ we had saved up for another Fiero will be used to fix the house, and then we will start over again...half the fun is the anticipation of getting another one.
BAD weather??? man a little bit of rain and waco goes.....well you know the rest.
Sorry to hear all that! well WHEN you get another Fiero, you will know where to get parts! (IF Steven doesn't take them all. HEY Tim, Did I see you and Michael in the rose bowl parade??? the Storm troopers were out in force!!!!!!

For those that do not know, CenTexIndy lives close to the western white house. The Crawford ranch place that "W" rents from Cindi Shehahn. Cindi had to supply an armored car to protect "W" and Laura from that storm.

Sorry to hear about your home. Glad everyone is OK. One question, why isn't your homeowners insurance covering your dameges? Seems like they should cover this and you shoudl use your cash on a Fiero.

Leave it to Mike to ask the all important question
Yeah - Mike's first thoughts I am SURE were "What do you have left to part out?"
There were twin F2's that hit about 3.25 miles from the house...they didn't do any real damage to our property, but I had a friend who lost a large chunk of his house....
The winds that we had that day were bad and I had already lost some of the roof on Christmas Day during a strong wind storm....the weather on the 29th just finished some of it off.
G W Bush was preparing to head for his storm shelter at one point. We are not used to tornadoes during December.
Revin - Wendy and I were actually down in your neck of the woods when the storm hit....so I did my job of keeping it away from you
Yes - insurance is covering some of it...but some of it is cheaper to fix without the insurance deductable (sp?). So, Fiero fund becomes House fund.
PLENTY of parts out there to be found now...so I am sure that when the time comes to get serious again it will actually be much easier to find what I am looking for

What's the deal with the bulge over the 3rd brake light? I've never seen this before.
Yes, that is a thrid brake light. There are a couple of pictures of that...I have not seen that either and thought it wa a neat mod. The guy that went out there with me is also looking into his first Fiero and thought that he may take that and add it to one that he gets.
my 1984 39,000 mile t-top car leaks like crazy on the seals that go around the door frames and up around the t-top area, im in despirate need of those parts, if you talk to him ask him about them, if he wont ship i could pay you a fee for removing them (without cutting) and shipping them to me.

His number is at the end of the pictures. Just give him a call and see what he says. I know that he didn't seem real interested in selling the T-tops when I was talking to him, but I was trying to work on him to sell me that car. He may decide that he wants to sell it now. Not sure. I found him through a firend of a friend, so I don't really know him that well.

Had someone call and ask for Smitty's number today, so I thought that I would bump this in case anyone else needed the info or had forgotten that there are parts available at this location.

Sorry to hear about your weather woes CenTexIndy. I just saw the thread and was wondering if someone could give me the vins and description (colors, roof type, tranny type) for any 88s there. The last pic shows a burgundy notchy with ttops and a yellow windshield frame. Any chance that he took that off a yellow '88?
Thanks for any info,
John, JwWillhoff at aol.com

But he thinks he is sitting on a gold mine. He is nice, as long as you are nice to him. His prices are good for me and those around here b/c we can go look at the parts first and we don't have to pay shipping.
