For those that tell me to search I already did.

I didnt really see any thing i wanted to see, so can people with wingless GT's post pictures of their cars so I can see if I really wan't to Take the wing off or leave it on. I think it would look empty with out the wing but with the wing I think it looks a little crowded. SO please post some pictures.

Kyle

Btw: If I take the wing off and sell it, How much could I get for the WIng and the stands? Needs to be repainted

Every other Fiero I've owned had a wing on it. The last one had a 5" high wing that looked good to me but made it difficult to see out the back window. I plan on putting a scoop on the decklid (ordered, just waiting for it to get here) that will have a small electric fan under it to draw out hot air. Having that, I think putting a spoiler on the back would be a little over kill.

Oh yeah, the car will be lowered by the end of next week.

My 87 GT
Quarter windows weren't installed yet, but I'm very happy with the hardtop and wingless look.

Clean lines and a more modern look.

See I like the picture of the rear end but from the side it looks like the 1/4 windows just end short enough to make it look really weird

Once I get mine on the road...I'll more than likely be running wingless for a while.
My wing is kinda sagging in the middle which makes the ends rise up looking pretty silly.
I think I'd rather be wingless than have a saggy wing.

Play with the wing a little, I did until I found a position I liked.

Pieces of a sunroof assembly off my Jaguar XJR- seriously, it was almost a perfect fit. I cut sections to fit, glassed them to the bottom of the spoiler and bolted it on.

I think spoiler-less on a fastback looks a lot more like a Ferrari. And yes, that last pic is even better. I have the spoiler on my fastback though, and it's good enough. A lot of people tell me it looks better than without. Do what you think looks good though!

Erik, what's this "soon to be Ferrari powered"?

If you want to be able to add and remove your wing at will, you can get some plugs for the holes and paint them body color.

Thanks. I don't why it wouldn't do it. Did exactly the same thing I've done before. Copy and paste the link. After about 10 tries I got frustrated.

edit: went back and realized the copy/paste was dropping the first [IMG] each time. So I manually inserted it and it worked. Thanks again

If you want to temporarily fill the holes, Ace Hardware has all kinds of little black plastic plugs that will fit and be pretty water tight. They are in those yellow bins with all the little drawers. Usually near all the oddball hardware parts. Probably have them at Lowes and Home Depot.
