Hello all,

I've been looking at these C5R Lemans headlights ($1300... ouch!) made by www.spectergtr.com. Any idea on how I can make this shape for the Fiero? I know the Vette nose has more of a pitch. I'm trying to make model of the HL then have someone out of the country make the parts (due to costs) out of fiberglass & plexiglass. I was thinking of buying the clear cover from specter for $250 (pair) then moding them (cut, hack) to the Fiero and make molds for the plexiglass. DIY.. any ideas on how I can make this shape or what object I can use to achive this? I don't like the rectangle fiero non-popups.

Thanks for the feedback...

if you move the lights down into the fiero nose about an inch they should work. they look good, just glass over your old squares and cut the new shape.

De ja Vu

Hehehe funny u should mention that david, there is a candy widebody vette in this month's Luxury and Exotics car magazine that is out of this world and has these same headlights in them.

I saw them in the mag, and looked up the specter website and got the sticker shock too hehehe, but i agree i think they would work and look outstanding on a fiero !

Great minds think alike !

Theres a kit made for C4s that would be a lot closer in size/ fit than a C5. Its about the same price. Has a few projector beam type lites and plexiglass cover. I dont have the catalog in front of me, but prob can find it with a search.

Thanks for the info and pictures guys. I got the headlight i'm going to be using. One is a projector and a smaller non-projector for the high beam. Both are angel eyes. Here is my pic.
This images is larger than 100K. Click to view.

Also have been considering cutting lower part of the hood (about 1.4") and maybe into the bumper to have the angle for the light... If I want to keep flush to the hood but I like to have C5R Lemans style.

It's been done before on at least two other fieros. Not sure who owns these but I pulled them from the forum a few years ago. In my opinion, I don't think they look good on a fiero.

They look bad . I'm looking for the Vette style. He is a pic of the Mazda RX7 conversion HL on an MR2. Looks better then that Fiero but still not what I'm looking for... Thinking about cutting that 1.4" of the lower hood...

IMO actually these RX7 HL would look better then the Fiero flush mount HL

Weren't those called "Gator Eyes" and sold specifically for the Fiero at some time?
