It was done by a company by the name of Molzon Design Conversions in the Michigan area back in the mid to late 80's
I'm told 3 were made, car number 3 was destroyed, car number 2 was sold off and in very ruff shape and this one, car number 1.
The kid that sold it to me was not 100% sure how many were made 1,2, or 3.
Built on a very early 84 with NO history with carfax other then the new title issued 28 months ago in Michigan. The person behind the conversion worked for GM for many years. All of the panels are made of fiberglass and the trunk is lengthened 6 inches, they/he did a very nice job building this car. The car also has a Quad 4 with a 5 speed trans.

If you scroll down the page there is a mention of this car along with a picture. I also have FOCOA photos of the Fiero's when they drove down the line in 1987 and there is a picture of that car with the group. Nice find...

It also looks like the tail pipe design has change from the archived thread.
