I know this has nothing to do with your post. But i see you are from minnesota. I own a 000079.9 actual mile fiero that sat in a tech school from 1987-2003 near where you are from. It had a willmar school district sticker on it. Are you familiar with this car? It was a White 1987 notchback never driven or used.I dont have much history on the car except this. Did you ever hear of or see this car before? i own it now and have it safely tucked away & preserved for a future generation. If you or anyone near you remembers it please reply or email me at ED77KATR@aol.com Thanks Ed

There is a black & white picture of a 1984 Fiero Stage III. Looks like a converted INDY Pace Car with
white upper half with multi-colored bottom.

So anybody know anything about this car or company?

I got a chance to see some of these tonight at the MFF club meet. Very cool Geff. I especially liked the catalogue that had a pic of the mill and drill machine. And that one that you didn't mention....that I think Rob was going to scan and post it....I won't say untill he posts the pic/article.

Yes, DGP was the official company that built the Fiero race car bodies and GM allowed them to make the aftermarket parts as well. They designed the "widebody" kits. Around 1989/1990 DGP closed it's doors and IRM bought all the DGP Fiero molds. Two years or so ago IRM closed their doors and Doug at Fiero Warehouse bought the DGP molds from IRM. So the parts sold by Fiero Warehouse are actually the original DGP designs.

www.fierowarehouse.com

The car in the pic (although it is black and white, DGP's original catalog was in color) has a white top, red stripe, and the bottom was a metallic blue/gray. The actual car was raffled off around late summer of 1987 at an IMSA race. The car was suppose to have went to a guy who lived in northern Indiana. The car had a 232hp SD4 in it just like the real Pace car. It was DGP's Display car for about 2.5 years. They also had a aero-notchback and a Fastback car as well but I never heard where they went.

That's about all the info I have.
