Yeah, her first love is her '69 Firebird. She even has the firebird emblem tattooed on her hip. She's a fan of the Fiero too. We just replaced an engine from her 85GT (pos) into a beautiful 86SE. She can't wait to drive it.
Scott, I'm glad you made it home safe and sound. It was great meeting you! I hope you had a good time and didn't gain too much weight!
Trip home was uneventful, other than my thinking the plane left Philly half an hour before it actually did. It was kind of cool flying back into San Jose during daylight, cause I could identify every city and land mark we flew over on final approach. Oh, and I now despise McDonnel Douglas MD-80s.
It was awesome meeting you all in person and getting to hang out for a few days. It was WAY too short, I really didn't want to leave. Now I'm stuck back here going to school and work again on freeways that let any moron drive in the left lane. Keep it under your hat, but I kinda liked Jersey We'll have to all hang out again, that was a LOT of fun.

Some more pictures as requested by some. I don't know what the big tube was for in this car. I think Lil'Devil has more info on it. I didn't get to speak to the owner but this car had been extensively lightened and even had racing rubber on the rims. Here are some other pictures requested. Sorry the next one came out a bit fuzzy.

I was going to post more pics of his car but yours came out way better then mine. Hopefully he will chime in and explain his car a lil better.Lou is a great guy. I met up with him at the hotel in and i'll try to explain as best as I can remember. The car is a 350 with a Preocharger. It was custom fabricated to the motor by him. ALOT of fabricating went into the setup to make it work. The tube you see, I believe is the pressrized intake charge that comes out of the Supercharger...it then split off and goes into 2 air to air intercoolers located in the scoop areas. Then into the motor. In the pics above you may notice it has 2 sets of exhaust pipes...well it has a "quiet" street exhaust and a race exhaust. You switch between the two by hitting a button inside the passenger compartment which causes a electric valve to open. You'll be seeing more about this car. Its going to be featured in HighPerformance Pontiac soon...maybe a cover shot!

Some great pics, thanks for posting them. Man, I wish I could have been there. Next year, yeah, damn it, next year, we'll be there (I hope). Some wild and wonderful rides.

Slipping eh? ;-) You forgot to add in that I had just moved the car over from the Standard of Excellence tent! :-D Since the Fiero show was over I decided not to unpack and instead did other duties :-). Thanks again for posting pics John - we certainly had lovely weather!
The red car with the black ground effects actually belongs to forum member fhp666 (aka Chris Ashbrook).

I wanted to add a winking smiley at the end of my statement Jen but I would have lost the space for one picture. Each smiley counts the same as a picture. I know your car was on special display that day. I like your new wheels too.
I was almost in the background when that shot was taken. I was walking by, saw they were taking pics and managed to flee before it was taken.
That chameleon purple Diablo like car is called "Stalker" and was built by Jim Michaud. It was also at Knotts Berry Farm last month. I took a lot of pictures of it then, they are posted at http://www.kitkar.com/galleries/gallery.php?gallery=kbf2005
