I propose this belongs in O/T but more will see it here than there.

These people that do not believe in "In God We Trust", need to go to hell. Don
Your comment makes me wanna buy more Pepsi in the can. I'll have to remember to do that. I'll skip going to Hell, Michigan is really to cold for this time of year.

Was Pepsi around before the words "under god" were added to the pledge? That would give them grandfather rights. Or is Pepsi some newbie company that shoulda stayed out of this completely, and need spanked for their opinion?
I don't drink any colas so am unbiased on the boycott. But in the spirit of GFC I am going to bring up than I do not drink the Pepsi in a can in my Fiero!

Not very long ago those words were put in in the first place.Had to do with the cold war.I think late 50s or early 60s. Pepsi cleans bugs off the window better than Coke.Coke sticks and pepsi washes off.
I like pepsi too much... i dont really give a **** what it looks like or who im supporting. Although, i bet im their biggest customer =o. The can also says if you buy coke the terrorists win.
So just because I don't believe in your theories makes me a bad person? Here is a prime example of how religous people push their beliefs off on everyone else. Let's all boycott Pepsi because they don't believe in god. Good idea, and while were at it lets also force people not to drink it because they don't believe it either. Keep your religous thoughts in your head and don't push it on me.
I believe in the Fiero god, anyone else that doesn't including Ka4nkf can burn in ford hell. I believe if Pepsi doesn't acknowlege the Fiero god then I will boycott them. "Religion is the malignancy of the mind." One of the best quotes I have ever heard.
Religion and government should be seperate. Common sense of nature, I don't need religion to be senseable. I have every right to be here as anything esle living. I don't steal because I don't like to be stolen from. But I could go on about common sense but some people aren't educated in logic. One thing for sure this stupidly biased thread does not belong here. Debate it in O/T and keep your beliefs to yourself. Ed

Good Job! Political correctness has gone too far. Americans have become too soft worrying about whether we should refrain from referring to God for fear of offending an Atheist... by the way, how many great Atheist leaders have risen to the defense of America? (I don't really care to know, so anyone who feels it necessary to do a forum search on this and post it in a reply don't need to bother). I'm so tired of individuals who use these issues to gain notoriety, those that want to change everyones perception of how they are looked at by forcing the majority to refer to them as lets say "Domestic Engineers" for example. I imagine that someone out there will be offended by this, too bad. You have that right, and that is what this country is all about. Of course there are things we should be sensitive about, references that are derogatory- but who knows anymore what those things really are... ever watch the Dave Chapel show? There is no problem using a "derogatory" reference to others like himself (black/African-American) I am who I am, I believe in God and am proud to refer to the All Mighty when ever I want (except in vain of course). You don't like it, then get away from me, hang out with your own kind. I don't want others to shove down my throat what is appropriate, especially a company trying to capitalize on the spirit of patriotism without understanding how this country was founded to begin with (yes I remember the story is not true, but there are other companies who have done this in the past and will continue to try). As for all those Domestic Engineers out there, stop reading this post and make me a sandwich.

WELL FIRST OFF : this belongs in O/T SECONDLY: not everyone belives in god . so where the hell do you get off saying everyone that doesnt believe in that statement should go to hell ? you need to grow up a little bit and realise that not everyone is going to share your opinion. these statement is one of the reasons sooo many people feel there should be a even stronger seperation of state and church. notice the signature , do you think i believe in god??? do you think i going to stop buying something that supports or does not support religion ??????
I propose this belongs in O/T but more will see it here than there.

I agree this belongs in O/T but it may very well wind up in the trash can. The Internet rumor mill has cranked out another doozy if you check the link above. As far as believing in God? If you do, you know there is a Hell. If you don't believe in God, you don't believe in Hell. That doesn't make it go away any more than denying you were speeding to the cop as he hands you a ticket. What kills me is the people who start with "Well, MY god wouldn't send people to hell." Who do they think made who? If you have ever botched a repair on your Fiero can you be trusted to make a god? To believe we are all the product of some happy string of accidents from before recorded history is like expecting a tornado to assemble a pristine 88 Fiero GT with t-tops and every conceivable option out of the local Pick n Pull. Where's Ken Whittlief when ya need him?
