when we got a '87 saab 900 for my sister's first car we found 2 knives (around 5 inches long), 2 baseball bats: 1 metal, 1 wood...and a nice collection of wu tang stickers. That certainly peaked our interests....Haven't found anything interesting in the fiero yet...

I wouldn't worry too much. When we are doing a job (Work for GM) and drop a bolt, we don't pick it up unless it's easy to get to. We don't have time to do it. So, I wouldn't worry.

In a '79 Firebird I had years ago I found a ten inch long serrated bread knife and some blanks under the passenger seat. The most interesting thing I found in the Fiero was dog hair (yuck) and McDonalds Monopoly stickers under the console, I don't know how they got there. Kevin

Thanks! the bolt didnt look like it was actually bolted to anything, the threads look virgin.
and it was a Lansing build, so maybe you had a hand in it.

I found a pipe under one of the seats when I pulled them and it wasn’t for tobacco… Since then I have gone though the car to make sure it's clean.

Going along with Golden86's story, I found about $2 inside the center console in change.

I've worked in a couple junk yards and around junk cars for many years.

One of the worste things to find.... Bees/wasps You often don't know they are in there until you do something to upset what is often a well esablished hive/nest inside the car body. Most other vermin is dead, runs away or gives you some warning. Not wasps.

Most of the cars I've owned came pretty clean. Change under things. nothing interesting.

In my '86 I found three .22 rimfire cartridges, a pack of Swisher Sweets with one still in it, and a cassette tape with dead ants in it. No idea what's on the tape; one of these days I'll have to get a tape player I don't care about and see if the tape will play.

Oh, and $0.01...so far.

I was looking at a 79 trans am before I bought my fiero and there was a lot of wax fruit under the passenger seat. The guy was put in the mental institution and thats why the car was for sale so I wonder if he knew it wasn't real?

Nothing too strange in the Fiero...empty pack of ciggarettes and a few bad headlight motor relays - a few months later the passenger side relay went out.

A lottery ticket from 1988 with a lady's lipstick print on it was found in the pockets of my GT's visors.

Nothing exciting.

My wife's grandfather once had some GM car (don't know what it was) that had an awful clunk in it when turning a corner. After the dealer took the fender apart, they found a heavy duty air impact wrench in there. Most likely from the assembly plant.

In my first car 85 or 86 chevy spectrum I found a Rolled up gay pride flag.... And 2 plastic tubs... I was young so I didn't know what the items ment so I left them in the glove department were they was stashed later that day I take my mom for a drive and she looks in the glove and finds those things my mom then looks at me with a blank look on her face and tells me.... Son we have to have a talk.

I finally learned what a gay pride flag actually looked like....... She never wanted to go into details about the plastic tubs.

When I bought my 85 Coupe back in April, there was a parts car sitting there from which I was able to rip a bunch of parts. I found both cars just sitting in from of a boarded up repair shop which was for sale, and they had been dropped off sometime before Xmas. In the console of the parts car I found an old ownership and found that the car had belonged to my one of my old best friends who I had not seen since we were 7 yrs old. That was 23 years ago! I have often thought I should give him a call and let him know how his car is :}

In my 85 or 86 fiero, can't recall which, I found a womans tulip ring. At least thats what my wife called it when I showed it to her. She cleaned it up and kept it. Now she can never say she hasn't gotten anything out of my fiero collection.

in my 86 se i found about 200 tooth picks under the seats and in the center console, it was seriously like two big handfuls of them when i got them all out....a couple quarters, and a bunch of "acting and modeling" business cards from like 1988 in the console and map pocket..... the cards had some new york city address on it and most likely looked liked they were directed towards young girls.....

When I was working for a car dealer, we found a few grocery bags full of pot plants in the trunk of a trade in.

Oh yea, but not found in a car, but the guy who runs the car wash next door found a paper bag with $10,000 in cash while he was emptying the trash cans. He turned it in... ....figured it was a goofed up drug drop off deal.
