I have to say that for such a great event I have seen very little posted on the forum about it. I saw one thread on dyno results but can't recall seeing even one picture posted from the event. Did anyone at all take any pictures or were you too busy going after the hot deals on parts?
Ok, I'll post some pictures. The weather was lousy on Friday, Saturday the weather was great, and Sunday on the way back to Florida, it rained all day. Thanks to Ed & Rosie and all of the staff at the Fiero Factory. Jeremy was all over those cars. We all had a great time. Wouldn't miss it for anything. It was a great time to talk Fieros and get together with all the friends we;ve met over the years.

And for those that have never seen the inside of the Fiero Factory some pictures for you. It is so refreshing to see mechanics treating Fieros like they should!
Hope this satisfies some of those lonely souls out there that missed attending Ed Park's Swap Meet!

Thank you, thank you, thank you... That brings me a little closer to home... I can say one thing though.. I did get to see the 'rocket'! He brought that out here to the Knotts Berry Farm kit car show a couple of weekends ago. I started talking to the guy and said that there was a guy who always brought vehicles similar to this to the Fiero Factory Swap Meet every year... One had a Mercedes emblem and some others... He motioned me over to the side and showed me some of the pictures of his other vehicle.. I can't believe he drove that thing back and forth across the country! I bet he got some looks!

I see myself. Second picture down, the guy in the t-shirt, jeans and hat in the background. Man, I really look trashy, but I swear I clean up kinda' decent. The other two with me will have to identify themselves if they so choose.

Look at all those donor cars. I didn't get back from Knott's until late Wednesday. Was wayyyy too burned out on driving to go down to Ed's for the weekend.
That guy with the wild looking car was at Knott's last week and won 3 trophies with it. He drove it all the way out there from Huntsville and then drove it all the way back to Ed's the next weekend.

ACK!!!! My life just flashed before my eyes!!! No, the Cobra isn't mine (assuming I'm the one referenced above...), though for a Mustang it's pretty nice, and will *almost* keep up with MY car. It belongs to the dude in the black shirt standing behind it.
THIS:
is MY car...
Heard there's a ton of pics out there, but mostly on film. If anyone wants webspace to stick pics on, let me know.
Take care all...and Ron...ouch, very ouch.

I was there and I had a good time and got a few things too. I bought a 88 y-pipe and a new exhaust manifold among other things. I even got to drive the 308 rebody down the road and back. Met Raydar, nice fellow by the way. Had a great time and hope they have it again next year!

Some showed great attention to detail and execution.
I had some great chats with owners, sharing info & experiences.
I found out that orange paint is from the Opel GT, the owner told me the exact name but I didn't write it down. Maybe he can remind me, I liked it.
And I never met this owner, but what a paint job.
This was my first Swapmeet, and I had a ball. Thanks to Ed & Rosie & all the Staff, I really enjoyed your hospitality.
And thanks to the Fiero community for the warm reception given the Pantero. This was it's first time out, and I think you liked it. I was so busy talking with folks and such that I didn't take any pics of the Pantero at Ed's.

Thanks for the picture of the Opel orange 86 GT. That belongs to my buddy Tim in Nashville. He told me that he painted it the same color as his old Opel GT had been. It was originally a gold car. He got it painted after I left Nashville so I had never seen it. I'll ask him about the exact color name.

Boomtastic and I just returned home this morning at 2:30 am and both had to work today - I took a bunch of photos and will try to get them online in the next few days.

Sorry jeremy, I thought I heard that you were a guy that drove mustangs. I saw you by that mustang and assumed it was yours. Your car looks cool too! It still is not a Fiero but I bet it hauls butt. I know there are times I want to haul faster than my fiero. Sorry for the confusion.

Jeremy, if you'll post or send me a link on where to send the pix, I must've took close to two or three hundred. I took them in VGA mode so they'd be easier to post, and I have a broadband connection, so uploading isn't a problem. I had a great time (I know wife would have been bored silly with the car talk, but there were plenty of women around for her to socialize with) and came home several different shades of green. I had Northstar envy, Pantera envy, 4.9 envy...

Tony, That was one nice camera you had at the Swapmeet, so I know you should have some great pics. All you should have to do is download the PIP program, and then post them. Instructions are at the bottom of the page, click the PIP logo.
Doug, I think that was WCCapman. He had an excellent N* installation, for which he sells the necessary chip. N* is bolted to a 5spd trans. That pic is of the rear suspension, which he built himself. The front end has Held's widened "sport" or whatever, crossmember, c-arms, coilovers, drop spindles. Very nice.

Thanks for the nice comments. The custom one off suspension design is mine on my N*/Getrag 85/86. Actually it's two off, as the other side matches the one in the picture.
The front suspension is the standard Held Motorsports width, although this was purchased when Ryane still owned it so it came from Oregon. I think it was shipped via Pony Express or something as I remember waiting almost half a year for it.
And, yes, I do sell a copy of my chip for $200. BTW, I had the chance to "play" with a new Carerra on the way home, but he didn't seem to want to after a brief punch at 95. But I did get 25 mpg there and back.
I had a great time and enjoyed meeting everyone there. Maybe better weather next year.

And if you see the bright green plentium and valve covers in tellron's pic wait for Daytona next year!! Pat and Ron are going to put together a car to go along with the pieces - that should catch a eye or two

Roger that, (been playing online air combat games too long) I'll post them tomorrow, too many pix and oh-dark-thirty comes way too early for this kid. Thanks for the tip on PIP...
