Great potential, but it's gonna need lots more than 170HP before I buy one. I'll wait for the supercharged version... or a good aftermarket turbo, etc.

The supercharger is going to be a dealer installed option in 2006 look for 240HP

"Then again, it all could change. Later this year, Pontiac could announce that the 'Bird is coming back, in lieu of the Solstice. Or not. Judging from appearances, reception to it and the technology behind the vehicle, it seems certain that the flaming chicken is flat out of luck. Look for the Solstice to hit dealerships during the fall of 2005."

I just mentioned this car to my wife and to my surprise she suggest we get rid of the two trucks we have. So maybe there will be a Solstice in my future.

The 240 HP model of course!
