I used to own an '87 coupe that had a very bad burgundy repaint, a bright red (and badly faded) GT front fascia, faded bright red hood with lots of misc overspray from sitting next to a paint shop or ??
It was ungodly, but it ran very well. I actually drove it to a show in San Antonio back in 1999. I have a pic of it somewhere.....I'll post it when I find it (it truly is a sad sight)

Thats what I was thinking.
Seems like there was blue Fiero on ebay that had a terrible look-a-like IMSA body kit on it with wheel caps. Just the color, kit, and wheels made it look hideous.
u guys are lucky i cant post pics.... if i could, i would make these cars look nice... ex. 87 GT, fastback clip gone, notchback clip on it... silver coupe door on it, blueish/purple fender, and 1/4 panel, black groundeffect under door, rest car is maroon, with silver ground effects. ex.2 silver parts car, 84 coupe, dont want to go there... ne 1 want to post pics for me? I like the Jalapeno, but that 'lambo' wannabe creation from hell in the corner has got to take the cake.
We really ought to stop this thread, it pops up every now and then, and all that happens is a lot of bitching, and then some forum member's car gets mentioned, and we all leave with a bad taste in our mouths.
Merry Christmas.
Best! Ben.

I had a parts Fiero that beat all those for uglyness. Too bad I naver took any pics before i scrapped it.
Imagine this,
Black 85 GT, paint seriusly faded, red ground effects. whaletail spoiler that was about half the size it should have been.
Had the uglest pinstrip job, was probably red pinstripe, looked pink when i got it. Started at leading edge of fenders, got wider as it went back and turned into a bow or somekind of a swirl on the doors. same pinstrip effect on the decklid.
After market sunroof, gaudy hood vents that were crooked.
The wheels were painted red. I still have those kicking around, should snap some pics.
It had chicken wire mesh in place of the lower airdam under the nose.
2 cell phone antennas, one on the windshield, the other on the back window. Still had one of those real old car phones that was permanitely attached to the car. The hand set was mounted to the top of the radio surround.
Dunno what the guy was thinking, it was probably a nice car before he went physco with it.
It was sooo ugly, that even sitting out back my shop, I had to pull the pinstrip off of it, gave it a bit of decency in its last days....
Suprisingly we did salvage the ground effects, bumpers, and the motor to put on our 85 coupe. I must have used 150 bux worth of sanding discs to get that red paint off of the GFX and bumpers!

Playing with search... couldn't find what I wanted so I thought I would justify my time spent by moving this TTT!

I win. Whats sad about this is that this car RAN* and was FINE when it was parked. The kids that lived in the house before we did just beat the living hell out of it.
*According to our neighbour, the car was driven to the spot it is now in. ------------------ The Black Beauty (85 GT) - Bustedato (86 SE, Parts car) Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things AOL IM: KSSouter MSN IM: I_R_Sootah@hotmail.com
