When I look through Interpart's axle listings I see either 27 or 33 splines on the hub end and 26, 34, 39, or 41 on the differential end.

Are all 27 spline ends the same diameter? Are all 33s the same? Are they interchangeable for spline length, etc.?

Anyone know one way or the other for sure?

What are you trying to accomplish?

Well, a couple of things. The finished project will be a G6 6-speed using the jackshaft and '89 -'91 Seville or Pontiac 6000 hubs. The Seville and 6000 hubs are the same except for the spline count, 33 and 27 respectively. I can't find anything about the 6-speed G6 hub or axle spline count. I don't know if the 6-speed hub is the same one used on the automatic. I'm just kinda flailing around looking for info.

Somewhere I saw a site that listed just about every CV axles combo with the spline and axle diameter info. Let me see if I can find it. Maybe the new trannys are listed.
