Hello again all,

Just starting to try to get my son's 85 gt v-6 auto "somewhat" road worthy for my son to toot around town and have a few nagging problems that hopefully you kind soles can put me in the right direction.
Firstly this happens intermitently but, when the left blinker is turned on the light in the dash isn't lighting yet I can hear the signal work and it does in facxt work. Then the wiper will kick on out of nowhere almost every time I turn on the signal. When the light was working, just yesterday this was not happining. Along with that the oil gage seems to be working now right when this problem started.
Maybe a few crossed wires / wire harness under the console?

Once done with that problem the right front whell wants to wobble periodicly. As you applky preesure to the brakes they will pulsate although there are new pads on the front and rear. Cant just be a rotor can it?

Lastly the glove boc console between the seats, is this a good spot to put in a 4x6 speakers? Seems a bit tinny with just the 4x 10's up front and the seat headrest speakers appear to be shot.

Hope to her from ya folks,

The blinker problem could be a bad or corroded connection in the dash itself. My right side blinker light, in the dash, stopped working the other day, and when i took it apart to check the bulb, it checked out ok, so I put it back in and it worked. Maybe the contact was corroded.
As for your wipers, you have the phantom wipe problem. This usually is caused by the wiper circuit board having problems. Im willing to be that all your problems are caused by corroded connections.

If the phantom wipe occurs when activating the turn signal then the likely problem is a defective wiper switch in the column.

Under the glove box in the console is the ECM, people have installed speakers in that location but it generally requires fabricating a box/enclosure.

The bulb in the instrument panel that flashes for the turn signals may be defective, or have a bad connection. They are easy to access, just remove the cover over the rear of instrument cluster and there they are. Try removing and reinstallling a new bulb.
