it was done BUT the carbs are very pricie NOW and rare
btw the carbs and manifold were $1200 back in the mid 60s
as a option on a cobra
and a $5995 cobra is now worth over a $100k
and alot more with webbers

They made them, but it's been years since I've seen one. Not sure if they are still made. While I think they look cool, there are a few reasons to re-think this for the Fiero. You'd had two carbs facing the rear window and two pointing back. They wouldn't be centered very good. The performance can be beat with computer controled fuel injection. For the same basic effect, I'd locate a full race fuel injection setup. The kind with the chrome stacks. They are made both upright and horizonal. Then have injector bosses welded into the manifold where it goes into the head. Then you could use a ECM controled fuel injection system. That would eliminate the frequent adjustments required with the Weber setup.

There are still several companies that make individual throttle body intakes for Chevies. The setups are EFI, but the manifolds might fit Webers.

Wait... Inglese has a crossram manifold for side drafts on Chevies.

Looking at those web sites reminded me of something from a while back. I remember a place that converted the older fuel injection setups like Hilborn to electronic so you could have the look of the old systems but the reliability and streetability of the modern setups. Seems you could do something like that with the Webers. Just use the bodies as a throttle body and hide the injector in the base or maniflod. Just a thought, depends on what you going for; if you really, really want the real thing then go for it. If you wanting the looks and dont want to put up with the tuning hassles of the carbs there might be another way.
