Just a bump for a really cool idea. Fieroking had asked what parts were used on my GT, and needed the numbers for Sourmug's 88.

Would this strut work for a GT decklid with the springs torsion springs removed?

Yes, it is perfect for a winged GT. A little strong for the wingless variety, but not bad. The decklid needs to be held while opening w/o the wing.
