Saturday Join us for the 10th Anniversary Tyler Shipman Memorial Car Show in beautiful downtown Frazee, MN!
Open to all makes, models, years and kinds of vehicles including ATVs, bicycles, etc. This show is held annually in memory of Tyler who passed away 2/14/2010 at the age of 18 from synovial sarcoma. His 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT was lovingly restored for him prior to his death by a group of complete strangers led by a soldier deployed in Iraq. This show is a way for the Shipman family to give back to the community, friends, family and others in need. Registration is open for our 10th anniversary show in downtown Frazee. Shirts and merchandise must be preordered online and will be available for pick up the day of the show. Please note shirt orders will only be accepted via the website this year.
Proceeds from the show will be donated to a family in need going through a medical crisis keeping with our #PayItForwardForTyler concept.

All sponsors, no matter what level, will be on our shirts for advertising!
Sponsors for the 2019 show will be given a coupon code towards purchasing shirts and/or merchandise off of the website.
$100 sponsors will be given a code for $5
$300 sponsors will be given a code for $15.
$500 sponsors will be given a code for $30.
Sponsor levels start at $30.

"It was such a blessing last year to #PayItForwardForTyler with the Tyler Shipman Memorial Car Show. Because of our sponsors, volunteers, car show participants, neighbors, friends and family we were able to help four kids and their families with donations totaling over $4000 after expenses. My concern was switching from scholarships to direct family support would lessen enthusiasm for what we do but it was obvious that was not the case! Despite medias attempt at making it seem as if there are not good people out there and human kindness is a thing of the past I just have to beg to differ. This journey for my family has brought so many people into our lives that just want to help people. Every year there seems to be new ones joining in.
I am seeking nominations for a #PayItForwardForTyler family for the 10th anniversary show coming up in July. If you know someone who has child under 18 With a medical need and would like to submit their family for consideration please contact me at payitforwardfortyler@gmail.com or message me on Facebook. The 10th Annual Tyler Shipman Memorial Car is right around the corner - July 27. Registration at 10 am, Show 11-3 pm. Not only will you save $5 but your vechicle ID card the day of the show will look cool and have any personalization you may request on it. Win-win!
We will be having Brandon on as DJ again this year and he has advised me there has been some upgrades to his equipment to allow for music further down the street! That is great news! Our trophies this year will be done by Rob Bartlett of the Minnesota Fieros Forever, our home car club, which is new for us. I’m very excited to see what he is going to do for us and I know our participants will be too!
We are very excited this year to have the aggressive goal of a top 10 list of #PayItForwardForTyler things to do as our fundraising goal in celebration of our 10 years of giving back. My daughter Cassie came up with this plan prior to leaving for boot camp in May and I am going to do my best to meet this goal! Don’t miss out on "Camp Shipman Goes Hog Wild" the night before at Camp Shipman. We are having a hog roast (throwback to the early years at Camp Shipman) and a live band - The Front Fenders! Even if you are not camping here, please show up for some great food and music! Brian Bigger will be roasting the hog. Brian has been a sponsor of our show since the beginning and was also on the ambulance crew that helped bring Tyler home from Roger Maris. Bring a chair and a cooler with your favorite beverage. When the food is gone, it’s gone but the music will go until midnight!
