Speaking of dogs- and snow....I have been watching a video every Christmas season of a dog (Bailey) playing in snow since close to when I got my first dog (She actually got me)

This video was shot on VHS back in the 90s in Colorado...I don't think you could ever come close to such a great video;

It's currently 40F degrees and very sunny in west GA. Probably mid-to-upper 50s, today.
They don't know what the weather is going to do here, this year.
Conventional wisdom says warmer and dryer than average, due to the "La nina" in the Pacific. But there are also rumblings about a shift in the Polar Vortex, causing a blast of cold.
I wish I had a job that I could take an "educated best guess", be right a little over half the time, and still get paid.

I was still picking up leaves on Friday.... I'm still not finished with them yet but yesterday (Saturday) we got about six inches of snow. That's a lot for this area considering it's still November! I still needed about one more weekend to get the last of the leaves.

I know cattlemen (online) in upper peninsula that got snow in Sept and The Great White Cowboy has already driven the cattle down from the high ranges out in Oregon.

The same folks who predicted the shift in the Polar Vortex (BTW... it seems to already have happened) also predicted lots of cold and snow across the midwest. (Duh?)

Two weeks ago, they were predicting highs in the 60s in middle GA. They pretty much choked on that one. (40 degrees here now, after a low of ~32.)
Of course, everyone is going to say that I'm whining about our weather. I don't care. I despise winter. I live in the south for a reason.

I also despise the shift from DST to standard time, but that's a whole 'nother discussion.

I sure miss my old place....only happened once in a 3rd odd numbered blue moon, but it was nice to look at till it turned to mud.

Great video. I have seen it before but forgot about it. I believe it could go viral again.
