What hard drive do I need? Tivo HD replacement (Page 1/1)

I'll start this admitting I am I am admittedly not hardware technical savvy.

Our Tivo which is ~9 year old died today after a power fluctuation. From what I can tell from research a common issue appears to be the hard drive dying when certain lights appear. When I pull the cover of the Tivo there are sounds coming from the HD so I think it is safe to call it dead.

The old HD is a 500GB drive. I'd like to upgrade to a ~1TB drive, which I believe is compatible. Now my basic technical.
Where/who is a good vendor to get a legit hard drive from?

The Tivo is a Bolt model TCD849500. The hard dive is a 500GB Western Digital model WD5000LUCT-63RC2Y0 made in July 2015. Can anyone recommend a compatible model HD in the 1TB range? I know very little about hardware. My requirements are 1TB from a reputable brand and reputable vendor. I don't want a cheap knock off.

Thanks for your advise in advance. Yes I know I am living in the past using a Tivo but it is convenient.

I was rather surprised with how cheap a direct replacement is. Damn, just 20 bucks. There's no doubt a 1 TB version available, but seeing as how inexpensive the 500 GB drive is, you can't go wrong just sticking with this size.

[EDIT] Curiosity got the best of me. Here's the 1 TB version for $35.
