I am the previous owner of this car.
It was built by Don Hulse, the former Ga. Fiero club mechanic, and Fiero go-to person. (Sadly, he passed away several years ago.)
Don was the most meticulous person I knew. A heavy truck mechanic by trade, everything he did had to be "just right". Including this car.
AFAIK, the engine was a Grooms rebuild, that Ed Parks removed from a customer's car and replaced.
Don bought that engine from Ed, and went through it again.
It has been to the 20th and the 30th. It has been on several (most?) Run-For-The-Hills events.

Hello James - now you have my interest, and it looks like you're just 3 hours from me. I have a few questions:
1. any rust? undercarriage damage?
2. any other problems that you are aware of? Such as, does it run well? Anything leaking? Squeak/shake/shimmy?
3. Miles on the odometer & motor?

I wasn't planning on buying a Fiero right now, but I can't help but consider it ... I may need to make my driveway bigger

Thank you for your interest.
1> some surface rust on the rear cradle but nothing bad, I can send some photos this weekend.
2> Runs well, a lot more power than my 2.8 V6 Fiero
The battery runs down if the car sits more than a couple of weeks without being driven.
The A/C needs Freon added a couple of time a summer.
Tach on the Dash does not work.
3. The motor was installed by the previous owner. I am unsure of the actual mileage but guess 50 to 100K is a guess.

How about that mini in the background?
concpt AUG 27, 09:53 AM
The Mini !!!
My wife would kill me. She is from England and wanted one for years. We found her that one a couple of years ago.

That's a beautiful Mini. It's surely something that those tiny cars have more cargo utility than our lovely Fieros.
Spadesluck AUG 28, 11:08 PM
I have been on the hunt for a classic mini. I do not need a running one, but I do want a roller. Problem is they are so dang expensive now. I was in Belgium for 4 years and didn't take advantage of trying to get one then. Shame

GLWS on the Fiero. Try taking it to one of the many car shows here in Georgia, folks seem to clamor around the Fieros. I would think it could sell that way locally faster.
