I am looking for a 2.8l engine assembly. If you have an engine taking up space in your garage let me know and i can have it take up space in mine instead!

Not to be negative but realistic, buying a 40 yr old used high mileage engine that probably wont run well is probably not the answer. I recommend going with a nearly bolt in rebuilt 3.4L P/R engine

BTW - Rebuilding the original 2.8L engine is the 'cheaper' route than a 3.4L....
Edit: Especially in California!

I am not wise on it but from the looks of it he is from California, engine swaps are not just a one and done over there. Which is why he may be looking for a 2.8L.

Hello Kenn I have a 2.8 with wiring sitting in my garage in TN, but I'm probably not going to use it. I'm told it was running when it was removed. I've had it for over 10 years, and it's been kept inside the whole time. It was dropped from an 86, and I got it because I wanted the getrag for my 84. I intended to use it at some point, but at this point I don't think I will. You're probably better off finding something closer, but let me know if you're interested.
