Does anyone know where I can get a fake gated shift plate for my 5 speed Fiero?

Be warned that you may damage your transmission as this holds the shift lever in one spot, not allowing it to "float" side to side as needed.[This message has been edited by IMSA GT (edited 03-23-2025).]

I 100% agree with IMSA GT ! I brought this simulated shifter plate from Piza The Fiero HQ in Phoenix, AZ. This plate does not have ability to shift in the slots. Note: I bought the shifter from Rodney Dickman‘s site. I also have not experimented this specific shift plate with the OEM standard manual shifter.

That is the safest route to go. Your shifter never gets locked into one of the gates so it's better on the transmission.

I have one of the PISA shifter plates and what I think is one of Rodneys Euro Shifters if you are interested.
These are no longer available
