After a long winter of rust repair I finally got my 88' Fiero on the road, and after chasing down some coolant leaks that I promptly fixed it decided to develop rod knock and overheat. So if anyone has a spare 2.8L V6 around the Michigan Lower Peninsula, Northwest Ohio, or Northern Indiana I would be interested. Thanks! I ended up finding a Fiero in Indiana with a running V6 that I traded for a laptop. After swapping engines now I know that the old engine blew because of a slipping tranny and maybe has a bad torque converter.
