Would you be able to find out if there are anymore parts available. Im looking for a cylinder head and a 3.25 crankshaft or a KRP rear main seal adaptor for the marine crank.

Have a Kinsler injection for a SD4?
If so, please email me at dukenalon@hotmail.com or text Duke at 317-450-7564
Thanks

I gave my friend your info, he is a busy guy but hopefully he will be contacting you soon; I'm not sure if he has a separate Kinsler setup for sale, or if he has one already installed on a complete engine for sale

How realistic is it to attempt to put together an SD4? Are the parts required still relatively easy to find, or is it closer to being a lost cause??

The SD4 engine was a limited production high performance 4 cyl built back in the 1980's. Its rugged, bolts in and can be built to over 200 street-able horsepower . If you decide to build one just take into consideration the cost vs reward. SD4 parts seem to come up from time to time and I do not believe they are that hard to find.

Parts do come up from time to time, but it is not easy to find something that is fairly priced and in good condition. You can find well used rusted parts, and you can find well cared for parts. The well cared for stuff is going to be prohibitive cost wise. Better to do a 3.4 V6 swap. Also if the block you get is a 5 roller bearing style, you will have a heckuva time finding a camshaft for it that will be streetable. Most all of these cams were originally milled for race applications. Yes, will make 230+ HP, but only 7000 RPM. At street speeds, will be a dog.

I am the proud owner of a 1987 Fiero. I am currently looking for any sd4 parts available. I know this is an old post but do you still have anything?
